Live-In Companion

Does necessarily not have any specific qualifications but is patient and caring, has basic cooking skills and is able to run the home. They will expect 2 to 3 hours off per day.

Salary is negotiable depending on the number of hours worked but as a guide should be between £60.00 to £100.00 per 24 hours.

Live Out Companion

London area only

The companion will expect £8.00 – £10.00 per hour plus travelling expenses. The precise rate will depend on the type of duties required.

There will be a time when many of us need extra help in our daily lives. You may be less sure on your feet, unable to take care of yourself properly, or are just feeling lonely.

Companions will help with the general housework, the shopping, cooking, cleaning, laundry etc. Companions also allow you to regain aspects of social activity such as going shopping, to restaurants, for walks or visiting family and friends etc.

Experienced Companions come from many parts of the world. We ensure that every candidate has a reasonable understanding English and can speak clearly. We aim to place Companions who are carefully matched to your needs.

Companions will be prepared to work as many hours as required per week and would be paid accordingly. The salary for either live in or live out candidates would depend on their experience and qualifications. A guideline would be offered by the agency for any particular applicant.

It is important to discuss the terms you require regarding the number of days holiday you will be offering and also should they be required over the Bank Holiday period this should be clarified prior to employment.
