A Mothers Help is not necessarily a qualified nanny but has experience in looking after children. All our Mothers Help candidates are personally interviewed in our office and have checkable references. People with childcare experience come from many parts of the world. We ensure that every candidate has a reasonable understanding English and can speak clearly. We can offer people whose first language is English.

Their duties are to assist the parents with all childcare duties, which would include looking after their rooms, their clothes, and their food. They would also be expected to do some light housekeeping duties. There are some Mother Helps who are able to drive and it is important to specify if this required. A live-in Mothers Help should have their own room and would be expect 2 days off per week. They would like some weekends free. Babysitting is by arrangement.

The Mothers Help who lives out, will be prepared to work up to 50 hours per week and babysitting if required. Their duties would be the same as described for a Mothers Helps who live in. The salary for both live in or live out candidates would depend on their experience and qualifications. And the guideline would be offered by the agency for any particular applicant.

It is important to clarify your requirements regarding the number of days holiday you will be offering and also should they be required over the Bank Holiday period this should be clarified prior to employment.

We are an experienced Nanny Agency in London with over 16 years placing both nannies and mothers helps in London and surrounding areas.
